    Serpent was born on 1st, january, 1985 in Lesotho in Leribe District. He started singing at age 12 in school. He attended a primary school called villa Crux Primary School which is located in the near by village. He did his secondary level studies at Mmate Secondary School which is in the same village. He started singing at age seven at school, this is because early every morning before the school starts, they would gather at the assembly, sing and pray. At secondary school, he sang even more, and this is where he formed a choir. He organised a group of boys and practised the hymns to sing at the assemby. They also invented some hip hop and R&B tracks. In the early 200s, this is when he became famous throughout the local theatres and halls, they performed. A canadian tourist was interested in him and took him abroad and he was signed to Jamiro Label. He recorded his first album called Destiny's Mile, followed by Reaching My Climax. In 2008, he worked on his famous single, Badman, and was later released in 2010.
